Step 1

Insert the SIM into your mobile or modem.

Step 2

Switch the device on.

For mobile broadband connect your modem to your computer.

Step 3

Have the following handy:

Your new mobile number/activation key and enquiry password/temporary account PIN found in your Prepaid Starter Kit.

A valid form of ID such as an Australian drivers licence, passport or medicare card.

Mobile number or Activation key

Activation key or Mobile number
Activation key is found in your Prepaid starter kit. This is a code that starts with the letter 'V' followed by a 10 digit number (e.g. V09123123123). Your Prepaid Starter Kit may contain a mobile number instead of an Activation key.
Temporary account PIN or Enquiry password

Temporary account PIN or Enquiry password
Please enter your Temporary Account PIN or Enquiry Password - this is a four digit number found in your Prepaid Starter Kit. If your Enquiry Password is "----", please use the last 4 digits of your SIM Card Number.
New account PIN

Account PIN
Please enter your new account PIN - this needs to be a 4 digit number that you can easily remember. This is used to identify yourself when contacting Customer Care. Please keep your Account PIN confidential at all times and do not disclose your Account PIN to any other person unless you wish to authorise that person to access and manage your account.
